Business Development Manager – Northern England
Redkite Engineering Recruitment is working with a Global Manufacturer within the Material Handling sector to assist them in their search for a Business Development manager ideally based in the North of England.
This company has been going for over 100 years and are a global leading providing top quality power transmission belts, sophisticated conveyor and processing belts as well as plastic modular, timing and flat belts made of synthetic materials.
We’re looking for an energetic and driven sales person who really enjoys the thrill of new business as this role is heavily new business focused (about an 80 / 20 split in favour of new business).
You will be tasked with selling a range of products and technical solutions direct to end users, OEMs, fabricators and parts suppliers mostly within the Food Processing and Logistics sectors.
The main priorities for the day to day role will include building and maintaining professional business relationships, developing and implementing tactical sales plans to grow new business within the territory and providing sales forecasting and compiling management reports.
What we are looking for:
As above a passion for new business is essential in this position and we would need you to have experience in face to face / business to business sales.
In an ideal world you will have graduated within an engineering discipline BUT proven technical experience “on the job” is also considered.
Someone who is comfortable working Nationally. We are looking for someone based in the North of England due to that being where you are going to be focusing but there will be a requirement to travel Nationally for multi-site clients as we would want to you to take full accountability of your own accounts.
