Due to company growth within a specialist automation systems provider, we are looking for an experienced Machinery Safety Trainer / Assessor.
We are looking for:
Electrical engineering background
Experience in industrial machinery safety (Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive, ATEX and Pressure Equipment)
Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or higher.
The role:
On a day-to-day basis this role requires effective delivery of the companies machine safety training courses to a variety of customers from their very impressive training facilities and sometimes remotely.
Key responsibilities are:
Developing and maintaining machine safety course content, material and equipment.
Keeping up to date with Machinery EN ISO safety standards and legislation and maintain a good understanding of industry safety regulations and standards (ATEX knowledge would potentially be beneficial).
Occasional (c20%) machine safety inspections, including primarily PUWER Inspections, but could also include Risk Assessments, Safety Concepts, CE/UKCA Marking and Safety Validations.
Generating high quality reports using the in-house software tools.
Delivery of bespoke machinery safety training courses
